2016 Racing

In 2016, I will contest the WMRRA race series with visits to OMMRA, AFM and if all works out well, the July 8-10 round of MotoAmerica at world famous Laguna Seca for the support races of the World Superbike America Round. I’m on a new 2015 Yamaha R1M which Dave Lanigan, Speed Dealer Motors, has race prepared for the challenge. New bike, new challenges, looking for new sponsors.

We will also continue our Endurance Race Championship run and get back the overall title this year! We won the class championship last year and the overall title for several years running. No mechanicals this year will bring the title back to where it belongs!

Team Speed Dealer Motors, with rider Kevin Klemmer, is aggressively seeking sponsorship for the 2016 racing season. There has never been a better time to get into this rapidly growing sport. It gives sponsors visibility to a similar demographic as NASCAR and beyond, but at a fraction of the price. The exposure extends beyond the stated levels with potential for international exposure at the World Superbike co-event to be held this year at world famous Laguna Seca.

Team Speed Dealer Motors has a variety of sponsorship levels available that can accommodate commitment levels ranging from individual sponsorship to corporate title sponsorship.

Title Sponsor $40000. Official team name. First mention in all media – race coverage, press releases, social media, team website with link, posters and promotional team material. Main logo (full scale) on all elements of rider (bike, leathers, and helmet) transporter, canopy, banner, mechanic’s shirts, riders umbrella. Section of paint scheme and design of bike, transporter, uniforms and leathers.

Other sponsorship opportunities available upon request.

Rough Start

It’s been a rough start to the season. The first practice session of WMRRA Round 1 ended in a crash that absolutely destroyed my SS bike and broke a couple ribs.

Wrecked SS

She looked great thanks to Brandon Knowles at BrandXCustoms! Thankfully I had a back up bike. Unfortunately I was in no shape to ride the rest of the weekend, but I hung out and cheered on the rest of the gang.

Kaeden on Bike

Round 2 I was still out of sorts and wound up canceling my weekend as well as my participation in the Endurance Race with Greg Canrights teams. I’m looking forward to getting back to the track and fun at Round3! See you out there!

WMRRA Round 3

Another helmet trashed…

Actually a really great weekend of racing with WMRRA at Pacific Raceways. I had decent results in my six races but one wound up in a DNF by colliding into Brad as we were heading into turn 3. We were having a really good battle and it all ended in tears… :) I’m a little beat up but ok. I have great video and will share it shortly. More battles with Mark and Andrew and Wes and Doug and and and…

It was an awesome Fathers Day hangin with my Dad and son Kaeden, and my super hot girlfriend Yelena! :-)

Thank you to all of my fantastic sponsors and supporters for helping me to keep playing on two wheels. Dave Lanigan at Speed Dealer Motors, Barry & April Wressell at KFG Racing for the GP Suspension and Pirelli Tires, Flexi-Glass, Vortex, Motorex, EBC, and Darren Beatty for the great photos!Crash Helmet

Happy Fathers Day!

What a great way to spend the Fathers Day weekend! Come out and watch the fastest and craziest guys and girls on two wheels rip it up at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. This is the thrid race weekend for WMRRA and there is bound to be lots of dramatic racing going on. We’ve already seen leadership changes in most classes and in the overall championships. The Seattle100 Charity pits will be set up for all to come hang out between races. I’ll have mine set up right next to them so there will be plenty of room. There is a playground for hte kiddos and Kaeden will be there hanging out and helping entertain everyone :-) Bring your kids. I have some ear muffs and lots of soft ear plugs to go around. Dad’s will love it!!! Mine will be there!

The Schedule is here – http://www.wmrra.com/round3.html

I’ll be contesting the folowing races;
Saturday Races
Formula Ultra Race 1 @ 12:55pm (10 laps)
750 SuperSport Race @ 1:45pm (10 laps)
600 SuperSport Race @ 2:35pm (10 laps)
Sunday Races
600 SuperBike Race @ 11:30am (10 laps)
750 SuperBike Race @ 1:40pm (10 laps)

Formula Ultra Race 2 @ 3:45pm (10 laps)

There will be lots of action! I think the best place to watch is from the top of the west side aluminum stands at the T5 sign. You have to walk across the track and up the stands, but it’s totally worth it as you get to see both sides of the track and great overtaking spots!

Thanks to everyone who is supporting my racing effort! Speed Dealer Motors, KFG Racing, Pirelli, Seattle100 & 2-Fast, Flexi-Glass, EBC Brakes, DB Photography and Vino Bella!

1st Place in Formula 40!

OMMRA season opener was a blast! It was my very first time on Pirellis and WOW they are great tires! Chromie told me I’d get along great with them and he was absolutely right. Thank you Barry & April at KFG Racing for getting me sorted out this year. The supension was right on and I accomplished what I wanted in set up and knocking the cobwebs out of my brain. Both bike were great on pump gas but …I can’t wait to get some proper fuel in them next weekend. Dave has the old and new bikes screaming FAST! Sam gave me some good tips and Mike helped with some last minnute bodywork repairs – thanks guys! I had a couple of very fun races and finished 6th in 600SS after starting in 12th and fighting some good battles. I got 4th in the 750SS race and hit a new PB. OMRRA has a new class, Formula 40 and I was gridded up against a bunch of liter bikes back in the third row. I was stoked to get the hole shot and stayed there the whole race! It was awesome getting signals on the wall from Ryan and my HOT girlfriend Yelena :) on how far in front I was! My first official race WIN! Thanks to everyone who is supporting me; Speed Dealer Motors, KFG Racing, Pirelli, Seattle100 & 2-Fast, Flexi-Glass, EBC Brakes, DB Photography and Vino Bella!F40
